  • How long does an energy evaluation take?
    We monitor for 7 days, on average.

  • Would I benefit from having this service done?
    If your utility bill is low probably not. If your utility bill is high then definitely,  yes. 

  • How does it work?
    We monitor power usage similar to the power company. The difference is we will see the usage of every appliance individually.

  • Do you offer financing?
    No, but some of our suppliers do. 

  • What type of payments are accepted?
    Cash, check, or credit cards.

  • What areas do you service?
    Volusia County, Flagler County, Orange County, and Seminole County.

  • How long should an A/C system last?
    12-15 years depending on maintenance. 

  • What’s the best brand?
    The parts and equipment from most brands that contractors carry are comparable replacements. The details of the warranty should be reviewed closely to determine the better choice. 

  • Does my home need a high-efficiency system?
    Many things must be taken into consideration. Not all homes will benefit from a high-efficiency system. 

  • Should I have maintenance done?
    Yes, your A/C system works very hard to keep you comfortable. Take care of it with regular maintenance as if it were a car.

  • How often should I replace my air filter?
    30-45 days

  • Is there a way to remove pet smells from my home?
    Yes, we can install air cleaning and sterilizing equipment to help with that. 

  • Why do I have a lot of dust and allergens?
    You could have contaminants getting by your filter or have issues with your ducts.

  • What’s the difference between a heat pump and a conventional one?

    Conventional Air conditioners do not provide heating, but heat pumps do. ... A heat pump can heat and cool, but an air conditioner cannot, which is the primary difference between the two HVAC systems. An air conditioner is typically paired with a furnace to provide heat during the cold months.

  • Would converting to LED save me money?
    Yes, changing all lights in a home on average will save $20/month. 

  • Does my electrical system need maintenance?
    Yes, electrical wires are always being used. This causes heat on the wires. Heat will cause loose connections. 

  • Panel brands that would need to be replaced for a 4-point inspection:
    FPE, Ziasco, Sylvania, ITE, Push o Matic, Screw Syle, fuse box, Murray, Challenger

  • Why does my breaker trip
    A breaker trips due to an issue down the line on the wire that it is protecting. Call a professional to fix this problem. 

  • How can you tell if an electrical device is burning?
    The best advice is to stop, smell, touch, and listen. Call a professional if you think there may be an issue.

  • Why do I have a high electric bill?
    Check your power usage on the bill. Compare it to previous months to see if usage stays constant. For a more accurate reading of power usage, call for an energy evaluation.
